Status in Canada

HelloSafe is an independent travel insurance marketplace. It does not underwrite any risk and sells no policy: it presents and compares plans from insurers authorized in Canada, and you choose and complete the contract directly with the provider. HelloSafe makes no claim to hold a provincial insurance licence, or any registration as an insurance firm or representative. In Canada, insurance and its distribution are regulated province by province (in Quebec, by the Autorite des marches financiers); the relevant licence belongs to each insurer and each authorized distributor.

Personal Information

Personal information collected through the Site is handled in accordance with Canadian privacy law, namely the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec's Law 25 (An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information).

Intellectual Property
