Terms and Conditions of Use

Last updated: 5 May 2026

Courtesy adaptation for the UK market, pending legal review. The operating entity remains HELLO SAFE, SAS (France).

These terms and conditions of use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the HelloSafe partner programme accessible at atlas.hellosafe.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by HELLO SAFE, SAS, an independent travel insurance marketplace that does not sell, arrange or underwrite insurance and holds no insurance authorisation of its own in the United Kingdom.

By creating an account or using the Site, you unconditionally accept these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Partner: any legal entity or individual registered in the programme.
  • Tracked Link: a URL generated from the Site used to attribute a sale to a Partner.
  • Conversion: a validated purchase, attributed to a Partner through a Tracked Link, of a travel insurance policy underwritten by an FCA-authorised insurer and compared through HelloSafe.
  • Commission: the payout made to the Partner for each validated Conversion.

2. Registration and Account Validation

Registration is free of charge. All applications are subject to validation by our team within 24 business hours. HelloSafe reserves the right to decline an application without giving reasons.

3. Partner Obligations

The Partner undertakes to:

  • provide accurate information at the time of registration;
  • not use deceptive, aggressive or otherwise improper promotional methods (spam, brand bidding on HelloSafe and partner trademarks, false content);
  • not describe HelloSafe, or hold itself out, as an insurer, broker or FCA-authorised firm, and not imply that HelloSafe sells, arranges or underwrites insurance;
  • comply with all applicable regulations, including those relating to financial promotions, advertising and consumer protection;
  • not generate artificial, fraudulent or unsolicited traffic. Any breach shall result in immediate suspension of the account and cancellation of the corresponding Commissions.

4. Commissions and Payments

The Partner receives 50% of the commissions received by HelloSafe on each validated Conversion attributed to them. Commissions are calculated on the basis of validated Conversions and reported in the Partner's dashboard. A Conversion is only validated after the statutory cancellation period has expired and once it is confirmed that no fraud has occurred.

Commission payments are made monthly, with no minimum threshold, on the 15th of the month for Conversions validated in the preceding month. The precise payment terms (bank transfer, international transfer or Wise, and any supporting documentation) are communicated when the payment module is activated.

5. Suspension and Termination

HelloSafe may suspend or close a Partner account in the event of a breach of these Terms, confirmed or suspected fraud, or discontinuation of the programme.

The Partner may close their account at any time from their account settings or via our contact page.

6. Intellectual Property

HelloSafe grants the Partner a non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use its trademarks, logos and marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting the programme. Any other use is prohibited.

7. Liability

The Site is provided "as is". HelloSafe uses reasonable efforts to ensure its availability but cannot guarantee complete freedom from interruption or error. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that, HelloSafe's liability is limited to the amount of Commissions paid to the Partner during the preceding 12 months.

8. Amendments to the Terms

These Terms may be amended at any time. Partners will be notified of material amendments by email with 15 days' prior notice.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law, as HELLO SAFE, SAS is a French company operating the Site. Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Rennes, save for any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of the United Kingdom.
